What Is IMAT?

IMAT+ is a new package with advanced functionality and features that extends IMAT. IMAT+ allows the user to work with their Nastran and ABAQUS simulation data. It also has a new full-featured GUI for plotting and editing function.

IMAT+Testkit is a collection of utilities to aid in test planning and post processing. It includes methods for pre-test analysis to allow users to optimally select accelerometer locations for a modal test, provides procedures for reducing a full FEM down to the test measured degrees of freedom, as well as curve-fitting routines for extracting shapes from the test data.

IMAT+RTK is a new utility designed for jet engine and rotating equipment engineers. IMAT+RTK analyzes data and performs order-tracking of rotational events using the Vold-Kalman filtering technique.

Where Can I Get IMAT?
You can download IMAT by clicking on the appropriate link below. The IMAT download is password-protected. If you are a current customer, please email us here to receive the password. If you would like a demo, please fill out the demo request form hereand the appropriate information will be provided to you. You will also need either the Sentinel RMS license server or ATAServer (which is being phased out in favor of Sentinel RMS), to run IMAT v1.31 and higher. You do not need this for IMAT v1.21.

License Server for IMAT v1.31 and Higher
Starting with IMAT v2.50, ATA is phasing out ATAServer for the Sentinel RMS license server.  You can use either license server for the time being.  Over the next few releases ATAServer is being phased out, so we recommend that you use Sentinel RMS for new installations.  Visit the Sentinel RMS download page for more details.

For IMAT v1.31 through v2.41, you will need ATAServer (not needed for IMAT v1.21.) To serve TOKEN licenses, you will need ATAServer version 1.2.0 or higher. Visit the ATAServer page for downloads.

How Can I Obtain an IMAT License?
To obtain a demo license for IMAT, request your 30 day trial license! To obtain your permanent license file for IMAT v1.31 and higher, follow these steps:

1. Download and install Sentinel RMS or ATAServer, following the installation directions. 
2. Email us to receive password for IMAT download.
3. Download and install IMAT.
4. Follow the directions for installing the license file.
